Every product at KitchVelle is made by Alva Cookware. This page explains what each cookware line is made of and how the materials were tested.
Independent coating and safety testing
Alva's ceramic nonstick lines were independently tested by TÜV Rheinland. The cookware was screened against a 638-substance PFAS panel and tested for heavy metals including lead and cadmium. All tested substances were reported below the laboratory reporting limit.

Materials by cookware line
- 5-ply stainless steel: 18/10 stainless steel cooking surface with no nonstick coating.
- Ceramic nonstick: ceramic-based nonstick coating made without PFAS, PTFE or PFOA.
- Enameled cast iron: cast iron body with a porcelain enamel finish and no nonstick coating.
- Carbon steel: uncoated carbon steel that builds a natural seasoning with use.
